When you're cropping an image in Photoshop, it masks the outer edges of the image so you can see what the crop will look like. You can toggle the mask off and on using the forward slash key (/), as well as change its colour in the options bar (these settings are only visible when a crop is active). You can also change the opacity (while the crop is active) to 100% for a solid black background around your image. |
